![]() The Sanitary Authority Board consists of 5 township residents appointed by the Township Council for a staggered 5-year term. The sewerage facilities are comprised of two treatment plants the Brush Run Water Pollution Control Plant (BR WPCP) and the Donaldson Crossroads Water Pollution Control Plant (DC WPCP), eight pumping stations, and approximately 126 miles of sewer. The system provides service to approximately 6,000 customers. The Peters Creek Watershed area is the responsibility of Peters Creek Sanitary Authority. The Chartiers Creek Watershed area of the Township, comprised of approximately 13 square miles of land area, is the responsibility of PTSA. Public sewerage service is provided to most of the community through one of two municipal agencies. ![]() The western two-thirds of the Township are located within Chartiers Creek Watershed whereas the remaining eastern portion is in the Peters Creek Watershed. ![]() Due to the topographical features of the area, Peters Township is divided into two major watersheds.
